What BlockAIPro does and does not do
  • BlockAIPro works inside your web browser. It blocks AI websites and AI data requests made through the browser it is installed in. It does not block AI built into separate desktop programs, mobile apps, or your device's operating system.
  • It blocks a known list of AI services. We maintain and update a list of 200+ AI websites and 20+ AI data endpoints. New AI tools appear constantly. We update the list regularly, but a brand new service may not be covered immediately.
  • It cannot detect whether your content was used to train an AI. No software can reliably do this. BlockAIPro prevents data from being sent to known AI services in your browser; it does not track what any company does after the fact.
  • It does not read your encrypted traffic. BlockAIPro identifies AI requests by their web address, not by inspecting the private contents of your secure connections. Your browsing stays private to you.
  • Everything runs on your device. BlockAIPro does not send your browsing history or personal data to us or anyone else. The blocking happens locally.
  • Determined users may find workarounds. A technically capable person could disable the extension or use a different browser. Child and organisation modes add resistance, but no browser tool is fully tamper-proof.
